Professor Elie Wiesel, humanitarian, scholar, theologian, Holocaust survivor and Nobel Laureate, will visit UNC-Chapel Hill during Family Weekend 2010. He will be delivering a major university lecture and will be guest speaker at a dinner in his honor that evening.

"Against Indifference" lecture information:

Tickets will be free to OneCard holders, available at the Memorial Hall box office beginning Monday, September 20. In addition, students are eligible for two free guest tickets for each OneCard, and may bring a total of two OneCards.  (In total, each UNC student can then acquire six free tickets.)

Tickets will become available to the general public through the Memorial Hall box office on Monday, September 27, for $10 each, and will continue to be free for OneCard holders.  The Memorial Hall box office phone number is (919) 843-3333.  They will also become available through Memorial Hall's website at that time: http://memorialhall.unc.edu/

When the Memorial Hall box office has issued all tickets for Memorial Hall, they will release 400 additional tickets for viewing of a live feed in Hamilton 100.
