The family requests that tzedakah in Rabbi Fischer's memory be sent to North Carolina Hillel (www.nchillel.org/donate) and American Jewish World Service (www.ajws.org/donate).
Rabbi Fischer made an impact on so many of us, including many alumni of UNC-Chapel Hill. Anyone who would like to share their memories of Rabbi Fischer as a teacher, mentor or friend, is invited to email their reflections to firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday, January 6. North Carolina Hillel will compile these memories for Rabbi Fischer’s family.
May the Ever Present One comfort the bereaved among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
