NC State Hillel is a dynamic, student-led organization where our students and staff work together to create a community that fosters strong friendships and meaningful connections, while supporting Jewish students at NC State.
Our Hillel offers many opportunities to meet students’ needs, including bi-monthly Shabbats at Talley Student Union, Jewish holiday celebrations such as Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Passover, bagel brunches, monthly social events, programs with other NC campus Hillels, discussions on Israel, challah baking activities, and much more.
NC State Hillel also enjoys close relationships with other student groups and University departments, where we co-sponsor events such as Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), participate in annual campus-wide events like Shack-a-Thon, and engage in various interfaith programs.
NC Hillel provides Statewide programming to students from any North Carolina campus, including leadership retreats, Taglit-Birthright Israel, and alternative winter and/or spring breaks. Many of our NC State students annually participate in these programs.
We hope NC State Hillel is a place for you to experience a warm and welcoming Jewish community.
